Over a small bowl or measuring cup, use a sifter to add ½ teaspoon of matcha powder to the bowl.
Be sure to sift the matcha through to avoid excessive clumps in your lemonade
Into the same bowl, though not through the sifter, add 2 teaspoon of sugar or a sugar alternative
In a glass measuring cup, heat up ¼ cup of water, or use already warm water
Have a matcha whisk, regular whisk, or a fork ready, and slowly pour the warmed water into the bowl with matcha and sugar, whisking vigorously to prevent any clumping. Add ice to your glass of choice and pour ⅓ cup of lemon juice over the ice
Pour the matcha mixture over the top and stir
Taste and add more sugar if needed
